About me

Hi, my name is Ahmet Kapurtu. I am a web and graphic designer based in Brisbane, Australia. I started graphic design at a young age with basic pencil and paper drawings, sketching and painting. My father owned a design studio back in the 1990’s and I started using an ancient version of Photoshop on a Mac with a black and white screen. Editing my photos for fun is how I was introduced to graphic design on a digital platform. After “playing” with Photoshop, Illustrator, QuarkXPress, Freehand, Premiere and other software for years, I decided to study Arts & Design and become a professional. That is how Cracked Bulb Design came to be. I hold a Bachelor Degree in Visual Arts and Communication Design, a Masters Degree in Digital Design and I have more than 10 years experience in web and graphic design and a good understanding of corporate branding and brand identity.
